Dungeon Prompts: Using our Words for Spreading Joy

This week’s prompt is: Spreading Joy

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.”

– Winnie the Pooh

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

– Dr. Seus

“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.”

― Nicolas Chamfort

Today’s Prompt:

Think of a time when you last felt overwhelming joy. Now don’t just tell us about it. Don’t write about it and push publish. Make the post into a conveyer of joy. Words have the power to infuse emotion into the reader. This week let’s use our words to spread joy. Write a post that the reader can’t help but smile after reading.

The article that you link to this prompt should be a new post written specifically for this assignment.

Dungeon Prompts can be a vehicle for us to open up the abandoned rooms inside ourselves and dust them off a bit.  Take the prompt, explore the recesses of your mind, and get back with a poem, story, essay or creative offering.  Link your post to this specific prompt page and I’ll share your link back with our readers.

To participate, all you’ll need to do is:

1.            Tag your post with: “DungeonPrompts”

2.            Link back to this page in the body of your post *

3.            Dive deep within and give us a glimpse of your soul!**

*note: If the pingback doesn’t work, then please leave the link to your post in the comment section.

**If you don’t have a blog please feel free to join the discussion in the comment section

Be sure and come back to check out the other prompt contributors throughout the week. Comment on their posts and let them know what you think.  Together we can help create a community of great writers and honest seekers.  We are a mad blend, let us honor the wisdom within.
