Until All Else Falls Away

Emptied of my will to fight – tested and abused until it’s clear that I’m the only loser in fleeing the fear of being not the king, not even as-good-as, remarkably less than my self-esteem has led me to believe – until I break in the knowledge that it takes more than a dream, more than a conceptualization of truth, it takes persistence in the spirit until all else falls away.

  1. Persistence, yes, but even more, it’s a belief in yourself as whole and useful, regardless of the setbacks. And setbacks there will be. There are. And in these fracturus times, it’s easy to feel defeated. One step at a time, Sreejit. One step at a time. I believe in you.
