I walk her line
because it’s
beautiful to see
the world as she lays
it out, to play the game
as she laughs out
loud, to caress her
name with a sin
tinged growl.

  1. I enjoy the rhythm in this poem. A love poem in which few words reveal a sense of intimacy and knowing.
    I can hear Amma’s laugh and thank you for this.
    “… to caress her name with a sin tinged growl” delicate and slightly gruff at the same time. I like this line a lot.
