“Fire has both good and evil effects. It can be used for cooking rice, and also to set a house on fire. A knife can be used for chopping vegetables as well as to kill someone. Good and bad are determined by the use that we make of a thing.”

– Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma)

“A storyteller makes up things to help other people; a liar makes up things to help himself.”

– Daniel Wallace, The Kings and Queens of Roam

“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”

– Coco Chanel

During the Month of November I’ll be hosting guest posts on Intention. What does intention mean to you? How does it effect your beliefs, your judgements and your pardons? What does it mean to live a life of purpose, and commitment, or to walk with dignity? For the month of November, let us enjoy a global group meditation on walking with intention.

If you’d like to participate, write a 800-3000 word prose piece that is somehow inspired by this prompt. Feel free to think outside the box! Email your submissions to me at sreejitpoole927@gmail.com. Also, please include a short bio and profile picture, and any other pictures that you would like to include with the article.

  1. I’ll think on this during my many, many hours in the road. It’s exciting to learn of something weeks before it occurs, and thus have a chance to take part! 🙂

  2. LOL… you are hilarious! I wanted to pick up where I left off on Blur, and saw the post for the video reminder in the sidelines. I clicked and got the sheer pleasure of watching a minute and eight seconds of you displaying this passive-aggressive call-to-action for us to move our butts (or fingers, rather). You care… you don’t care… I guess it’s up to us to figure out! 🙂 I needed a laugh today! … and, yes sir, it’s coming…

    1. I know you do. But I do the same thing when I don’t get what I expect when I expect it… so I guess I was laughing at us both. Just never saw that side of you, obviously, and was tickled to death by it.
